What am I Thinking?!

 That's right, I'm running a 5K in September. If you know me you should know I hate to run, I love working out but HATE running! I'm slow, it hurts my hips,  I'm slow, I hate feeling my body jiggle... TMI? Oh well, running a 5K was on my 2013 Goal list so I'm making it happen! Doing the Couch to 5K program and hopefully by September I'll be ready and hip pain free! At this point I have no one running it with me but if you're interested let me know and I'll give you the team name I made to sign up with. It will be fun and I know you want to!!! September 28 in St. George at 9:20 :) See you there!! 

First Hike

Kev and I have been married for 2 years now and had never gone on a hike together. What's wrong with us? So two weeks ago, the weather was going to be perfect and I was bound and determined that we go on a hike. Caleb and Nikki were down for a wedding and didn't have anything going on that Saturday morning so I packed us a lunch and we headed out to hike Bells Canyon in Little Cottonwood Canyon. 

The hike took us a little longer than it should have since we took a few wrong turns... BUT it was a lot of fun and a gorgeous hike. If I'm going to live here for a few years then I'm going to enjoy the sunshine, blue skies and greenery as much as I can! 

~Sasha's Bridal Shower~

Myself and one of Sasha's really good friends Karli Hinton had the awesome opportunity of hosting her Bridal Shower. Now, Sasha getting married to Taylor has been a topic of many conversations for the past few years so to be her Maid of Honor (or Matron??) then I was so excited to throw her shower. She threw mine and it was awesome so I had to make sure she had as much fun as any Bride to Be should! Karli was so awesome and so helpful and I'm very grateful she was willing to help. Let's face it, throwing parties by yourself is hard work! Sasha and I started hanging out in 9th grade but really became friends when we were in 10th grade. We have been through plenty of drama with other friends through the years and watched each other make a few mistakes in the guys we chose to date but her and I have never once been mad at each other or had any drama between us. She's the best friend a girl could ask for and practically my fraternal twin sister.

 Karli planned this super fun game where she packed a bag of things Sasha might need on her honeymoon and she had to get ready blind folded. She did pretty good!

Not exactly what I would wear on a cruise, but it works :)

 So I had this brilliant idea of using Tootsie Pops for the "How Well Does the Bride know the Groom" game because Sasha has known and dated Taylor for years, I figured she wouldn't get any questions wrong...

Well, she got a few wrong.
